The Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IITKGP) has announced that it will conduct a recruitment examination for the Junior Assistant posts. A total of 40 candidates will be selected on the basis of this examination. All graduate candidates are eligible to appear in this examination.
For the examination, the board will release the IIT Kharagpur Junior Assistant Admit Card 2023 at least a week before the examination date. Online applications for the examination were invited from the candidates from 16 February 2022 to 16 March 2022. As of now, the IITKGP Junior Assistant Exam Date 2022 is not yet announced but candidates believe that the board will conduct the test very soon.
The IIT Kharagpur Junior Exam Date has been announced by the authoirty. Now the written exam will be conducted on 24th September 2022. A list of Shortlisted Candidates for written exam is also released by board.

IIT Kharagpur Junior Assistant Selection Process 2023
All those candidates who have been shortlisted by the board for the written examination on the basis of their Qualifications, Suitability, and Experience will be called to appear in the test. The candidates will then need to appear in the Typing Test apart from the written examination. The merit list of candidates will be prepared on the basis of their marks in both examinations.

- Typing Test – Computer Typing skill of 35 wpm (equivalent. to 10500KDPH) with an average of 5 key depressions for each word.
- Knowledge of Office Applications like MS Office, MS Excel, etc is a must.
