He has indicated that the Haryana Common Eligibility Test might take place in August 2022. But the date of the test hasn’t been made public yet.

On January 12, 2021, Sh. Manohar Lal Khattar, the chief minister of Haryana, launched the One Time Registration system for recruitments. Group C and Group D cadre selection will be based solely on the results of the CET, according to government policy.

- There will be a total of 100 marks attainable on the exam.
- The exam must be completed within 90 minutes.
- In the HSSC CET Exam, there is no negative marking.
- Group C positions on the CET Exam will have a level of difficulty comparable to a 12th-grade education or a graduate degree.
- The questions for Group D jobs will be at the 10th-grade level.
